We have found a great resource for you. A book from 2007 by SCX detailing out plans for 36 original and digital track plans as well as 18 real world F-1 circuits. The book has track layouts for different base sets and then adds variations to those sets while listing the additional slot track pieces needed to layout that new variation. You now have 54 new ideas for your slot car track.
The F1 Circuit slot car plans include some of the following tracks: Sakhir, Melbourne, Nurburgring, Catalunya, Indianapolis, and a very lengthy Sepang. The SCX slot car plans for Sepang in Malaysia will need an area around 16.5′ x 18′ and require a decent inventory of track needing just over 100 pieces including 46 standard straights! But you will end up with roughly 85′ in track to race on including some fast straights. You can download the SCX Track Plans book below for free.
Whether you race slot cars using SCX track or not, you can still utilize these layouts to help layout or inspire your own Carrera or Scalextric slot car track.
